Steve & Erin Minnis Lead Pastors
Meet Pastors Steven and Erin Minnis
At the heart of The Bridge Community Church in Stevenson are Pastors Steven and Erin Minnis — servants, shepherds, and partners in both ministry and life.
Steve serves as Lead Pastor while also working bi-vocationally in a full-time management role overseeing county employees. His calling to ministry has always been rooted in real life — walking alongside people not only from the pulpit, but in the workplace and throughout the community. He understands the rhythms, pressures, and responsibilities of everyday life, and that perspective shapes his compassionate and practical preaching.
Steve grew up in Wood Village, Oregon, alongside one brother and one sister. He earned his Associate’s Degree from Mt. Hood Community College and later completed the Course of Study through Northwest Nazarene University in preparation for ordination in the Church of the Nazarene. In 2007, he was ordained, affirming years of faithful study, service, and calling.
Erin grew up largely in Stevenson and is a proud graduate of Stevenson High School. Her roots in the community run deep, and her heart for people is evident in the warmth and hospitality she brings to the church family. Though not ordained, Erin’s ministry is woven into every part of church life — encouraging, mentoring, organizing, praying, and helping create a church home where people feel known and loved.
Together, Steve and Erin have been married for 26 years and are the grateful parents of two grown children who are both actively serving the House of the Lord. Their family life reflects the same devotion they bring to ministry: steady, faithful, and Christ-centered.
Pastors Steve and Erin believe the church is more than a building — it is a bridge. A bridge to hope. A bridge to restoration. A bridge to Jesus. And they are honored to serve the Stevenson community by walking that bridge with anyone seeking faith, encouragement, and a place to belong.
