Steve & Erin Minnis Lead Pastors

Steve and Erin Minnis have the joy of serving as Lead Pastors at The Bridge Community Church in Stevenson, Washington. Their heart is simple: love God, love people, and help others discover the hope and new life found in Jesus. The Bridge is part of the Church of the Nazarene, and Steve is an ordained Nazarene pastor with a deep passion for prayer, practical biblical teaching, and building a church that feels like family.
Steve’s journey in ministry has been shaped by strong spiritual mentors, including Reverend K.R. Iverson of Manna House in Portland, Oregon, who prayed over him and encouraged his calling to serve. Steve grew up in Wood Village, Oregon, and has always had a heart for both faith and community. Alongside his pastoral role, he serves with the Skamania County Sheriff’s Office as Chief of Corrections, overseeing the county jail and 911 operations. His daily work reflects the same compassion and steady leadership he brings to the church.
Erin serves faithfully beside Steve and is known for her warm, welcoming spirit and genuine care for people. She has a special heart for encouraging others, walking with families through life’s ups and downs, and helping The Bridge be a place where everyone feels seen, valued, and loved.
Steve and Erin have been married for many years and are blessed with two children: Patrick, who attends Eastern Oregon University, and Regen, a Stevenson High School graduate. As a family, they are deeply rooted in the community and grateful to call Stevenson home.
Their greatest desire is that The Bridge would be a place where you can grow in faith, build meaningful relationships, and truly feel like you belong.
